    RECREATION
Much of the resort's recreational activity takes place around two lagoon-shaped pools that feature faux Mayan structures, rock-lined waterfalls, and a two-story water slide in the shape of an alligator. The nearby beach offers idyllic swimming in Banderas Bay. For more adrenaline-fueled fun, a water-sports center and a marina can provide everything from snorkeling equipment and kayaks to motorized personal watercraft and deep-sea fishing excursions.

On the land, the resort has four lighted tennis courts, and its own 18-hole golf course. There are also daily activities ranging from bike tours to ping-pong tournaments to "tequila volleyball" games.
